Fistura® | RF ablation of fistula-in-ano
Radiofrequency technology gives providers a quick, easy-to-learn option for treating anal fistulae. Thin, flexible Fistura® catheters are guided into the fistula and then gradually withdrawn, sealing the tract a few millimetres at a time using radiofrequency thermocoagulation. The catheters are available in four sizes (6F, 7F, 8F and 9F), depending on the diameter of the fistula undergoing treatment.
